I’m Just A Boy is an unidentified 40-second new wave/synthpop snippet.

Search History[]

On July 6th, 2023, the song was posted to WatZatSong by user NY80sTapes/Kenny Cathead, with an additional 10-second to the 30-second song via Vocaroo. It was recorded in New York or New Jersey, in or before 1983.

On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.[1]

Later that day, when user Tyx asked Kenny why multiple songs weren’t featured in the original video Kenny posted on June 10th, he said there was so many clips that the friend recorded, and it was hard to keep track of them.
