Not to be confused with the unidentified song "Hypnotized"
Hypnotised is a formerly unidentified Darkwave/Post-Punk song by the Swiss band Club de Rome. The song was released in 1987 on the 7" & 12" record "Hypnotised" along with two other songs and a few alternate versions.

On September 5th, 2015, YouTube user нет войне! would upload a video to his channel titled "Unknown Postpunk & Wave from Switzerland 1". The video itself consists of 4 songs recorded off Swiss radio sometime in the 80s. At some point the video would be unlisted after all the songs were identified.

In the description of the video, нет войне! would provide more information on where the songs came from saying: "Found these snippets on an old tape, I guess, all the bands are Switzerland-based. Is there someone who recognizes the songs?". The snippet provided by нет войне! was only 13 seconds long and included no lyrics.
Four years later on May 31st, 2020, нет войне! would upload another compilation of songs he couldn't identify, of which, "Hypnotised" was included again. The video would gain significant attention after the song, "Cheer" became popular within the Lostwave/Lost media community. With this attention, other songs would get more eyes on them and would as a result get identified faster.
On March 26th, 2021, YouTube user Déandrah would identify the song as "Hypnotised" by Club de Rome, presumably after recognizing the song. "Hypnotised" would be the first solve from this specific upload/compilation.
