On August 12th, 2013, the song was uploaded to YouTube alongside some images of probably unrelated discs by user Toots Brown. The OP claimed to had played it to lots of collectors and dealers but they didn't know the artist. They also thought the possibility that the song was "one off cut for a theater group or a show of some kind". The upload has gained views over 8,500+ as of 2025.

In 2014, the next year, user Steve Mixup posted a reply comment onto the upload that suggests it is the instrumental version of a song recorded by François de Louville. Here's the quote from some parts of the comment (some lines have been broken):

"This track appears on the euro psych comp called "Some songs stuck in my mind" on "Crazy Apple Boutique".

The version you have here is instrumental. On the lp it has vocals. The liner notes say it was recorded by Frenchman Francois De Louville and it's called "Hot pot". It came out in '71.

The lp has a small image of the single sleeve with what must be the lousy pop song you refer too as it's title. B-sides often have the gems."

Between 2020 and 2021, user pascal reconfirmed it as Hot Pot (Instrumental Version) by François de Louville.
