Lyrics[]
When trouble's on the rise
And clouds are dark in the stormy skies
Just hold to the line
Hold to the line
Time, take it in stride
Look for life if you really want it
Feel for love and believe that it's right
Carry on 'til the day you find it
Fight to bring in the light
Love will lighten the way before you
Grasp for strength for a guide on the way
Search the pages, the words will see you through
Mmm, there's nothin' better to do
Than to learn how to live and what is true
Friend, you've got to
Hold to the line, hold to it tight
You need to be strong to get through the night
Just hold to the line, hold to it tight
You'll never cease to feel the light
When clouds are dark in the stormy skies
Just hold to the line
Mist will rise from the ground
Voices will beckon their lonesome call
Roads untrue will encumber their way
Others will mock and desire to see you through
Mmm, there's nothin' better to do
Than to learn how to live and what to do
Friend, you've got to
Hold to the line, hold to it tight
You need to be strong to get through the night
Just hold to the line, hold to it tight
You'll never cease to feel the light
