Lyrics[]

Another sleepless night alone
Staring at the ceiling wondering where the day has gone
Another empty nothing day
Full of pity for myself
Nothing went my way

And here am I, dreaming about the way it could be
Here am I, nobody being who they should be
Here am I, I need someone to love me
All day long

Maybe tonight I’ll get some sleep
Meet somebody on my dreams
Someone I can keep
She’s gonna stay with me til’ dawn
Trouble is when I wake up
Tomorrow, she’ll be gone

Here am I, thinking about that, oh if only
Here am I, maybe this is why I’m lonely
Here am I, everybody tries to tell me
Here am I

I must be living in a far off place on a lonely mountain top
Or a vacant cloud (vacant cloud) in an empty sky
Is anybody gonna give a break to this love I got?
On a lonely night, so here am I
Here am I

Is it my face? Is it my style?
Could it be that I’ve got something in my smile?
Some kinda leer, that’s insincere
That’s (???)

Here am I, dreaming about the way it could be
Here am I, nobody being who they should be
Here am I, thinking about that, oh if only
Here am I, maybe this is why I’m lonely
Here am I, dreaming about the way it would be
Here am I, nobody being who they should be
Here am I, thinking about that, oh if only
Here am I, maybe this is why I’m lonely

Here am I
Here am I
Here am I
Here am I
Here am I
Here am I
Here am I
