Gymp Dance (formerly known as Body and Soul) is a formerly unidentified funk-pop/synthpop song by Swedish musician and fitness instructor Susanne Lanefelt, released as a single in 1984 with another song titled Gymp Dance 2.

Search History

The song was posted to Discord and Google Drive on August 22nd, 2024, by Lyon Funk community member Remo76. No information was provided.

On August 24th, 2024, user Lost Content & Nostalgic Videos posted a video to YouTube, containing all the songs that Remo had posted, asking who made them.

On July 7th, 2025, the song was identified by Discord user Nel80s as Gymp Dance by Susanne Lanefelt after having looked through Swedish aerobics videos.
