On December 27th, 2021, Discord user Swior discovered the song Gulls Cry by The Dave Rave Conspiracy. The song’s title matched the tag, and the band sounded similar, but there weren’t any available copies of the song.
On February 2nd, 2024, user Evinary fully identified the song as Gulls Cry by The Dave Rave Conspiracy after they managed to buy a copy of the song.

The band consisted of Dave DesRoches and Lauren Agnelli.
In 1992, they released their first album, One Act Play With V8 Engines. Which this song was on.
In 1994, they released their second album, Three Octave Fantastic Hexagram.
In an unknown year, they released their third and final album, Rough Mixes.
