Goodluck Babe is a formerly unidentified ballad cover of Chappell Roan’s 2024 song of the same name by Filipino musician rococonat, released around 2024-2025.

The song was posted to YouTube on January 22nd, 2025 by user LOOP PALOOP. They uploaded the song along with multiple other covers of modern songs, none of which had the artists credited. The OP hasn’t respond to any comments, and they’re possibly a bot account.
On March 3rd, 2025, user Basketry reposted the song to WatZatSong, asking who the artist was. They had sourced the song from the original post. It was theorized the OP took the songs from SoundCloud, due to the covers they posted that’ve been identified being from there.
Later in March of 2025, it was discovered the instrumental came from a royalty free karaoke version of the song made by YouTube user Sing2Piano. The instrumental version was uploaded on May 9th, 2024, meaning the song couldn’t be from before then.
On June 19th, 2025, the song was identified by WZS user Phoe as Good luck Babe by rococonat after they searched for “goodluckbabe” on SoundCloud and found an upload of it, they said they guessed the song was deleted at one point, as it was posted on June 10th. The rest of the songs on the account have the same voice though, so it’s not a hoax.
