Gill Net (formerly known as "How Did It Feel") is a formerly unidentified Indie Rock/Post Punk song by the Maplewood, New Jersey based band Bob Evans. The song was released as the third track on the 1993 album "Jersey Barrier". In 2014 the album would remastered and published on the band's bandcamp.

Search History[]

On January 2nd, 2024, WatZatSong user Niski would post a sample to the site, providing a longer sample via Vocaroo in the post's description. Later that day user Krzyz4nowski would bring up the possibility that the song was in Polish, Niski would comment that it was in English and was recorded in America. More specifically WZBC.

A month later on February 14th, 2024, YouTube user MistaEgg would upload the song to his channel under the placeholder name of "How Did It Feel". Later followed by VisualConfusion on April 22nd, 2024.

On September 27th, 2024, WatZatSong user BlooDude2005 (BloostMedia) and YouTube user VisualConfusion would identify the song as "Gill Net" by Bob Evans. The next day on September 28th, 2024, it was revealed by Niski himself that the song and his other posted songs were hoaxed, and the search was staged.
