On January 3rd, 2015, WatZatSong user feliponcio posted the 30 second snippet of the song with description:
"My father had borrowed a vinyl record (a double single) with a yellow label. Back then, he didn’t have the money to own a record player, so he used one to record the music onto a cassette tape. However, it was recorded in mono, and the quality was terrible. Since then, he has been trying to find that song. I have a file with the full track, but the site didn’t allow me to upload it in its entirety."
On March 5th, 2025, the OP posted a comment with a link to the Vocaroo with a longer snippet of the song.
Only three later on March 8th, 2025, user TheLivingM3m3 identified the song as Gemini by Steve Alaimo.
