On November 24th, 2023, on the FMM Discord thread for the songs he posted, Kenny said that he wasn’t the person who recorded the tapes, but instead a friend who was trying to make a sound collage, but he recorded a few things.[1]
On October 25th, 2024, Bloost found that the style of the song was similar to an industrial band named "Test Dept.", who also had a song on NY80s’ tape. After looking into their discography, he identified it as their song "Gdansk" from 1985.
