Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
The air is thin
Nothin' I can do
I am barely breathing
Is there room enough
In your promises for me
Or am I only dreaming?
[Pre-chorus]
I fall into you, I fall into you
Yeah
[Chorus]
You're the water, in my ocean
You're the sun in my sky
You are life to me
You're the fire, in my winter
You're the moment of peace
I fall into you
[Verse 2]
The thought runs cold
Am I good enough for you
For all your expectations
Is there room enough
In your promises for me
Or have they all been taken?
[Pre-chorus]
I fall into you, I fall into you
I'm falling
[Chorus]
You're the watеr, in my ocean
You're the sun in my sky
You arе life to me
You're the fire, in my winter
You're the moment of peace
You're the air I breathe
You're the rain, pour down on me
Wash all these stains away
Cover me with you
You're the beauty, you're the wonder
You're the music to me
I fall into you
[Bridge]
Fall into you
Falling
(Falling)
I fall into you
I'm falling
[Chorus]
You're the water, in my ocean
You're the sun in my sky
You are life to me
You're the fire, in my winter
You're the moment of peace
You're the air I breathe
You're the rain, pour down on me
Wash all these stains away
Cover me with you
You're the beauty, you're the wonder
You're the music to me
I fall into you
You're the water, in my ocean
You're the sun in my sky
You are life to me
You're the fire, in my winter
You're the moment of peace
You're the air I breathe
You're the rain, pour down on me
Wash all these stains away
Cover me with you
You're the beauty, you're the wonder
You're the music to me
I fall into you
Chris Janz[]
Christopher "Chris" Janz was a performer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in British Columbia, Canada. He was born in 1977. He is the son of award-winning Canadian singer Paul Janz.
Chris got into music really young. At the age of 14, he formed his first band and started touring around BC.
Around the same time, he wrote the song Over You, which was included in his 2006 album Fly.
In 2001, Chris released his first album, self-titled Chris Janz.
Chris also worked with other Canadian artists. His work with other artists earned him nominations for Producer of the Year at the CGMAs.
He had the honor of being asked to score the Ultimate Gretzky DVD and has scored additional Television and Motion Picture Projects.
In 2014, Chris produced the Instrumental Song of the Year Heaven’s Joy, by Debbie Fortnum at the Covenant Awards, held in Vancouver, Canada. Chris was also nominated for his song Miracle To Find in the pop song category, and Producer of the Year.
In the same year, Chris released the song Broken.
In 2015, Chris started working on his third album, and unfortunately the last, titled Complicated Me.
Throughout his life, Chris struggled a lot with drug addiction, as shown by his 2016 song You're Not Alone. In an interview to a local news channel, Chris said:
- I don’t remember when I made the leap from “prescription enthusiast” to “career junkie,” but I do remember the first time I felt the pangs of fear, and alarm bells went off, resonating through me. I am an addict.[1]
On December 14, 2016, Chris passed away from a drug overdose in Abbotsford, British Columbia. He was 39 years old.
