Fading (Formerly known as "Wash My Hands" or "Jumped Off Alive") is a formerly unidentified Hardcore Punk song by the Washington D.C. based punk band Battery. The song was released in 1991 on the self-titled EP "Battery" and would be rereleased in 1993.

On June 14th, 2020, WatZatSong user JurgenS would post a sample to the site, saying in the post's description: "Piece of hardcore punk taped in March 1992. Chorus starts with "wash my hands". Unfortunately, JurgenS wouldn't provide a longer sample.
On February 14th, 2023, the song would be picked up by BloostMedia with him uploading the song to his channel under the placeholder name of "Jumped Off Alive". The Next day on February 15th, 2023, the song would be identified as "Fading" by Battery by WatZatSong user IceeStare.
