The song was posted to WatZatSong on November 2nd, 2017, by user Shedrock. Like most of their posts, no information was provided about the song, and they went inactive before they posted a longer snippet, but the song was likely recorded off of a British radio station, due to the abrupt start and the OP being British.
Around 2022, after the OP’s songs gained more attention due to then being reuploaded to YouTube, multiple users theorized that the song came from MySpace and was lost in the MySpace data loss. This was due to the style of their other songs being similar to MySpace bands from the mid-late 2000s.
On May 22nd, 2024, the song was identified by Discord user Phenix as Fuck Music by Chicks after they searched “Joey Ramone On The Stereo” on google and found an upload of the song on YouTube.
Lyrics
I don't wanna be a good time girl,
'cause I just ain't no good.
And I don't wanna be somebody's girl
Cause bodies ain't my thing,
I wish I could
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Teach Me how to do it I could,
Fuck Music!
I can't deal with frustration,
I cant come when I sing.
Jimmy-Jimmy-Jeans baby, wrote that song
about that sort of thing.
He wanted to
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Teach me how to do it I could,
Fuck Music!
Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha!
Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha! Uh, Ha!
Do you remember the day we heard
Joey Ramone on the stereo?
And out of the blue we became the nerds.
Who won’t ever need a place to go.
Singin’
It's alright!
When you sing it makes me cry.
It's alright!
Oh whatcha do whatcha do whatcha do whatcha do?
I wish I could
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Fuck Music!
Teach me how to do it I could,
Fuck Music!
