The Etsuko Nishio Tape (also called as Etsuko Nishio Tape Tracks) is the name given to a gravure tape of Japanese artist, actress and model Etsuko Nishio. This tape contains several unidentified and formerly songs. As of now, all 7 the instrumental tracks have been identified, with a remaining 4 songs still unidentified.
Search History
A clip from the tape was first posted to YouTube on June 13th, 2011 by user Hairegu. They didn’t provide any information about the tape, and only three songs were in the video.
On May 14th, 2021, user Tungsten Iwashiki reposted the three songs to YouTube, asking who the songs were by. Unfortunately, the full tape wasn’t available anywhere online.
On October 19th, 2022, user Rain managed to get the full tape, and posted it to YouTube. The credits list the name Taichi Iwasaki under music, but no record currently exists of them or anyone else in the credits.
Each song was reuploaded separately to YouTube by Q on September 5th, 2024.
On November 14th, 2024, users Mystic65, Rain, and 小羽k8o identified most of the songs on the tape as being by royalty free music libraries Studio Com and Sound Factory. Tracks 01 and 04 were the only songs available fully.
On November 29th, 2024, user MagicGoal posted the full version of track 08, Perpetuity by Sound Factory to BiliBili.com.
In December of 2024, the full version of track 02, Back In Town by Sound Factory, was discovered in a YouTube video posted by user AsahiRailModles on November 30th, 2023. However, reposting the song isn’t permitted by the song’s copyright holder.
