The song was posted to WatZatSong by user westernman45 on May 2nd, 2023. He said the song was from the late 70s - early 80s, but didn’t provide any information about where the song came from, nor a longer snippet.
On August 14th, 2023, user Bloost Media posted the full song to Vocaroo after the OP sent it to them. There still wasn’t any information about the song, but it was very low quality.
On February 10th, 2024, user Q reposted the song to YouTube, and five days later the OP said he got the song from a tape that recorded Austrian radio station Ö 3 in the early 80s.
On October 29th, 2024, the song was identified by user FatBird as Easy With You by Thom Pace. He had likely found the song due to the title being in the lyrics and a YouTube upload of the song having 60k views.
