Lyrics[]
Walking in the rain
Trying to keep the tears from sight
Thinking 'bout the cold way you left me
Here on a stormy night
Thunder's in my heart
And it's pouring down with pain
I'm counting all the lies that you ever told me
My favorite one of them
You know the one you told
When you said you would never leave me
Never leave me
Don't say you love me
And then say you don't
Don't say you need me
If someday you won't
Love is a cruel, cruel word
I'm scared to fall asleep
Knowing I would only dream of you
Out under the deep blue sky holding you
Until the morning light comes crashing in
I'm losing you again
Don't say you love me
And then say that you don't
Don't say you need me
If someday you won't
Love is a cruel, cruel word
Here I am, walking in the rain
And I'm trying to keep the tears from sight
And I'm thinking 'bout the cold way you left me
Here on a stormy night
Thunder's in my heart
And it's pouring, pouring down with pain
Don't say you love me (Don't say it, don't say it)
Don't say you need me (Don't say it, don't say it)
Don't say you love me (Don't say it, don't say it)
Don't say you need me (Don't say it, don't say it)
Don't say you love me (Don't say it, don't say it)
Don't say you need me (Don't say it, don't say it)
