Discarded (formerly known as "Stop My Feeling") is a formerly unidentified punk rock song by British punk band Indian Dream, released in 1992 on the compilation album Walk Across America - For Mother Earth.

Search History[]

On November 25th, 2011, user eraserHead posted the song to WatZatSong, saying in the post's description:

"OldTape01_A09 (~1985->1992) Hardcore Punk, sXe, HxC, NYHC, Youth Crew, Crossover, Noise. Big Thxxx 4 Ur Help ;)"

They didn’t provide any additional information about the song, and the snippet was only 30 seconds, the maximum length of a WZS post, and the OP went inactive before they posted a longer snippet. The song was most likely recorded off of an unknown radio station.

On May 22nd, 2025, WatZatSong user Sonolux identified the song as "Discarded" by Indian Dream, presumably after finding an upload of it on YouTube or by using WerZatSong.

Lyrics[]

[Verse 1]
Discard my feelings as you take my land
Hearts slip away like grains of sand
Slips away to tomorrow's today
Painted faces turn to stoney grey
Stoney grey

[Verse 2]
Five centuries of theft and policies
You cannot understand the little we demand
Symbols of our today, too easily thrown away
Sun follows moon, the night follows day
Follows day

[Outro]
Milk the land for all it's worth
One last drink for Mother Earth
Profits make you blind to see
Lakotas and Shoshones
Land goes fast, truth reaches slow
Yakimas and Navajos
