On June 10th, 2023, YouTube user Kenny Cathead uploaded on the website an hour long and twenty-nine minute mix titled '"Unknown". It included many unidentified songs, with this song appearing at 0:34 minute mark. The song was recorded off of a New York or New Jersey radio station.
On April 15th, 2024, only four days after YouTube user Q posted the song to her channel to get it more attention, it was identified by YouTube user Max Many Mix as Different View by London-based rock group Ruts DC after finding it in a WFMU show.
