Dancing (formerly known as Twist It!) is a formerly unidentified boogie song by Hayes Cotton, Felix Cole, Garcia Tarver and Sherrie Osborne, released on the album Secret Lover in the 1980s.

On January 10th, 2020, a one-minute and 10-second snippet was posted to YouTube on the DiscoCityGrooves[1] YouTube channel, under the title, "333 - Can You Identify This Track - Thank You".[2]
On October 5th, 2024, while uploading all of their unsolved videos from the DiscoCityGrooves YouTube channel to WatZatSong, a 30-second sample of "Twist It!" was uploaded by user djaireye. This upload was accompanied by the description, “70s or 80s disco track .... (333)."[3] djaireye is the owner of the DiscoCityGrooves channel on YouTube.
In addition, a slightly longer, 1-minute and 4-second snippet was posted on Vocaroo on the same day. Djaireye clarified that he does not possess a longer version of the song and mentioned that he originally recorded the snippet from an online mix, though he no longer has the link to it or remembers the name of the online mix.[3]
On October 24th, 2024, it was observed that the vocalist might refer to herself as "Sherry" or "Cheryl" in the lyrics.[4]
On December 5th, 2025, user Numerophobe identified the song as Dancing by Hayes Cotton after running it through WerZatSong and finding a match in the Musify database.[5][6]
