On May 14th, 2013, in honor of the premiere of the film dedicated to the toy series of the same name, Equestria Girls, a trailer appears on the official MLP channel. The song wasn’t credited in the video. Later then, Several people on social media found the song's identity unknown, officially starting the search for the song. Daniel Ingram, MLP's usual composer, had no association with the song.
On January 29th, 2024, YouTuber Eff Minus posted a video on his channel about lost songs in MLP media (Talking about Come And Take My Hand and Way Cool Family)
On January 20th, 2025, YouTuber SpikeyTheCactus re-upload the song on his channel.
