An article[4] from the "Süddeutsche Zeitung", a German newspaper, suggests that the song was made by the "Overdub Tampering Committee", a group known for releasing fake or tampered leaked music. However, this group was formed in 2005, at least three years after "Cider and Cookies" was created.
"The Casqueades," a New York band, released a song named "Ciders and Cookies[5]" in 2001. However, this song hasn't been found. The song was shared on a Radiohead forum, which makes it very likely to be this song.
On August 12th, 2024, the song was shortly considered solved when Discord user Octavia found the lyrics on an archive of Alex Farrill’s Last.fm page. But due to lack of “definitive proof”, the song is still considered nearly solved.

Ciders and cookies is good
When you wear cookies
Baby have some more chews
From back thirst us

I can't drink anymore
Drinking from the wrong cloud
