Church Organ Concert is an unidentified cassette recording of the organ concert at an unknown church, recorded on March 31st, 1990, 8PM. It is performed by "a professional" according to the card and also features the audience singing altogether. Its entirety is over 45 minutes, making it the second longest lostwave song, being beaten by "Subliminal Noises" (58:18 in length).
History[]
The tape originates from a church concert in the 1990s and bought at a Long Island thrift store by an unknown individual (likely a WFMU personnel). On the card, it also listed some information in cursive, bearing a signature that can read "Lover" in the bottom.
On January 18th, 2019, the full audio separated into multiple tracks and the image of the card were archived on Internet Archive by WFMU DJ Mei Clover.
One year later, on January 27th, 2020, Mei Clover eventually uploaded the audio to YouTube with her message as follows:
"Watch for the parts where the audience sings. The woman recording this sings blissfully out of tune and it is so charming and real. A definite slice of life sort of thing."
