Chinese Audiodisc Acetate is an unidentified acetate recording. It was originally uploaded by Mei Clover. Although she attributes the recording to an unnamed Chinese performer, it seemed to be made by a Japanese due to it entitled "姫百合塔" ("Himeyuri No Tou"), where is actually located in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, and the lyrics were excerpts from a Japanese poem of the same title by Karaiwa Taido (唐岩泰堂) from Kochi Prefecture.

History

On January 31st, 2022, the song was found on an undated acetate and posted onto YouTube by Mei Clover. She provided her assumption that it was recorded in the 1950s, but didn't tell where the recording was discovered from.

On January 24th, 2023, Mei Clover played the song on her "Music Only I Care About" show along with other obscure and unknown songs.

The disc was also one of the series of Audiodisc Recording Blank developed by Audiodisc, which is same one that recorded an unidentified Greek song "Ψαράδες" ("Fishermen").
