On March 12th, 2022, a YouTube user named "Mei-Clover" would upload the twelve different song demos taken from a cassette tape onto their YouTub channel, one of which being this song. The songs came from a tape with 12 demos from the 80s-90s owned by Bluewater Music Corp in Nashville, Tennessee.
On November 3rd, 2022, Mei-Clover would upload the entire contents off the aforementioned cassette tape to Archive.org under the name bluewater-compilation.
On January 24th, 2023, the OP played the song on her program on WFMU, “Music Only I Care About” to get it more attention and possibly get it identified sooner.
