Verification Needed

Songs that are considered verification needed include:

• Songs with amazingly good leads yet to be fully confirmed. (e.g. sober bear - Footprints Of Sound? and Satyr - Freaky?)
• Songs with artists that have claimed they made it, but they haven’t provided proof or the full version. (e.g. Maycon Rodrigues - Bora Tomar Uma? and The Sheiks - Ginny, Take A Ride?)
• Songs with origins discovered but artists still unknown, or the composer or singer is identified but they don't remember who wrote or sang it (e.g. Love Tonight)
• The presumed artist is dead or missing, thus the claim can't be verified (e.g. Patty Wolfe - Johnny Get Angry? and Insane Amish Posse - Ukranian Woman?).

There are other terms such as “Almost Solved”.

Note that lost songs that are obviously completely unidentified but the presumed artists are named or tagged should be first put in the Artist Known/Tagged Artist category.
