Cat Got My Tongue (formerly known as “Keep My Head Up”) is a formerly unidentified new wave/synthpop song by British band Darlings of the Splitscreen, released in 2008.

The song was first posted to SoundCloud on May 23rd, 2013, by ”Abrelatas”. They gave it the placeholder name "Keep My Head Up", but they didn’t provide any information about where the song came from.
On January 10, 2016, YouTube channel 123indie456 reuploaded Abrelatas's audio to YouTube, titling it “LOST TRACK”, asking if anyone was able to recognize the track.
On March 23rd 2023, user SicksadworldLA posted the song to YouTube. The video was a mixtape of songs recorded off of El Laboratorio de Relax, a Peruvian radio show run by DJ Relax. The description read:
"Third compilation of recordings of some classics in this segment and some rarities tuned into Radio Doble Nueve."
"I can't identify some tracks, so they remain unknown."
On December 23rd 2023, Discord user 'eggmoment' found sicksadworldLA's upload with the song credited in the description, identifying the song as “Cat Got My Tongue”, by Darlings of the Splitscreen.
On January 23rd, 2025, Darlings of the Splitscreen posted the full song to their Bandcamp.
