Lyrics[]
(Verse 1)
[Well it’s], life on southern shores
The records play, it could be ours
But you don't seem to hang out here these days
Pushing both my feet into the sand
Knowing this could never be my land
But the TV is the only fun in town
(Chorus)
Music's too loud, sun has gone to clouds
Dennis is dead and Brian's in bed
[Best world of choice] at the speed and the noise
I'd return if I could say bye bye to California
(Verse 2)
Don't believe what you hear
And read till' you've got everything you need
The people smile and know that it's alright
Everything for me is turning sour
I wake again exactly on the hour
But I don't know exactly where I've been
(Chorus)
Music's too loud, sun has gone to clouds
Dennis is dead and Brian's in bed
[Best world of choice] at the speed and the noise
I'd return if I could say bye bye to California
(Verse 3)
Days flash past once you rescue me
I'm so sorry that I didn't see
That the grass is never greener over here
At least I've got my radio
It keeps playing, the songs we know
(???), and that's a nightmare now
(Chorus)
Music's too loud, sun has gone to clouds
Dennis is dead and Brian's in bed
[Best world of choice] at the speed and the noise
I'd return if I could say bye bye
Music's too loud, sun has gone to clouds
Dennis is dead and Brian's in bed
[Best world of choice] at the speed and the noise
I'd return if I could say bye bye to California
(Outro)
Bring it on, bring it on
Bring it on, bring it on
