Buried Treasure (formerly known as "Lost In The Sand") is a formerly unidentified funk/synthpop song by Pennsylvanian band The Vels, released in 1986 on the album House Of Miracles.

On November 18th, 2024, user "Lost Content & Nostalgic Videos" posted a video to YouTube, containing all the songs from the mix, asking who made them.
On March 16th, 2025, user Q reposted the song to her channel in hopes of getting the song identified sooner.
The song was identified on June 1st, 2025, by Discord user Nel80s as Buried Treasure by The Vels, after they got into the band after discovering them because another song by them was on the mix, and they recognized it while listening to the album.
