"Breaking News" is a formerly unidentified new wave song by Russian musician Superkomfort, recorded in 2019.

On February 25th, 2024, a (now) deleted user posted the snippet of the song onto the website, saying that it was a "Pop, new wave, electronic retro" related genre song. They didn’t provide any information.
11 days later, on March 6th, 2024, a user named skibidiseggs posted a longer snippet of the song in better quality. They said the song had an “unknown origin”.
The instrumental was taken from a compilation of demo songs by an artist named superkomfort, although it is shown to only have the instrumentals. This has led to theorizing that the vocals could be by superkomfort too.
On October 9th, 2024, the song was fully identified by users francyc13, TheTVExplorer, and fanofficial after they contacted Superkomfort and he confirmed he made the song, providing the full version.
