The song was posted by WatZatSong on December 7th 2021, by user niski. They said they downloaded it off a P2P service. It's mistagged as a Boards of Canada song.
On September 28th, 2024, Niski himself revealed that the song and his other posted songs were hoaxed and the search was staged. It’s possible that Niski got the song from another OP.
