Ayy lmao is a formely unidentified viral parody of Macarena made by artist cherokeejack, made and posted on YouTube in 2014, but suddenly, due to copyright, the channel with the original upload was deleted. The song itself and video associated were both inspired by "Ayy Lmao Alien" memes.
The song was originally posted by user Picpoper Union, however, the OP never provided any information, including whether they were the actual creator.
History[]
On December 19th, 2014, Picipoper Union posted the full audio onto YouTube along with a 3D video featuring a mass of aliens dancing. No further information, except the first verses onto description incompletely, was provided by him. Later on, user Timothy L posted the full lyrics under the comment. Also, the video itself was originally posted in 2013 by an unrelated user. After the post, it went viral on YouTube in a shortened version.
On June 17th, 2025, the song was identified by user Arin as Ayy lmao by cherokeejack.
