2020s
On May 21st, 2024, Reddit user TZilantro_Slumber found the song, which was identified as "Avail" by The Burns. TZilantro had searched about the rock music scene in Belarus, which led him to talk with Vadim from Tok Rukoo and presumably morback, and then consider searching through other countries like Russia, Ukraine, Latvia and Lithuania, even reaching out to people in Poland and Romania.
After contacting a few bands, he reached out to the band Pompeya. Initially, he didn't receive any responses about the song from them, but eventually did. The response contained one of the band members writing to him about how he asked around everyone for someone who could identify the song, until the band's bassist, Denis, recognised the band which led to Pompeya providing TZilantro with the band name along with the full song.
On April 28th, 2025, user Sidr uploaded an unmixed version of the song, allowing users to understand the lyrics even more. [2]
There was a theory about the song having a "Fuck" at the start. It was stated by the band's drummer, Anton Sidorov, going "fa" to check if the microphone was working.
Presumed lyrics
NOTE: The first two choruses' lyrics were confirmed by the lead singer from The Burns. Everything else is presumed lyrics.
[Verse 1]
Lovely smiles, drink while
Clothes hide how to picture us
We're falling down, holding hands
It's too hard to live it up
A lot of words are useless now
I'll see my therapist
Can't see time, as I wake up
Lies a mirror from the sky
Busted roads and empty streets, in hyperrealities
It leads somewhere hidden deep
You will never find it
[Chorus]
Today you’ll see, how breaking your dreams
I’m so unkind, your heart is blind
I waste my time, I'm sure it’s alright
You try to find, some words in your mind
[Verse 2]
A lot of the time, it's all right
But at late, it isn’t true
Greater at things, not too hard
But it's too difficult to guess
Should we even sum it up?
Or to be drunk and be on drugs
There is nothing to avail, then life goes on
[Chorus]
Today you’ll see, how breaking your dreams
I’m so unkind, your heart is blind
I waste my time, I’m sure it’s alright
You try to find, some words in your mind
[Guitar & drum solo] [3]
[Final chorus]
Today you’ll see, how breaking your dreams
I’m so unkind, your heart is blind
I waste my time, i’m sure it’s alright
You tried to find, some flames in my eyes
