On June 11th, 2024, Reddit user Jiggyleaves930 posted about the song on r/Lostwave. The post garnered slight attention, but it was (and still is) obscure.
On June 9th, 2025, the same user discovered the Roblox ID of the audio, which was labeled as “TrafficRushBG” and uploaded by Roblox user MakeItRainBows. This did not identify the artist, though.

One theory suggests that the song is just obscure stock / royalty-free music. Another suggests that the song was made for the game itself.
