Anon0122 is an Russian-speaking user from Germany who is interested in finding traditional songs in Russian, German and English.

History of the Channel

Initially, the Anon0122 channel was dedicated to the topic of digitizing old VHS tapes. In 2020, during the pandemic, after stumbling upon “The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet,” Anon0122 joined the song search community on Reddit. He later joins the Lostwave community and decides to dedicate his channel to lost music. At the end of the year, he creates a playlist “The Most Mysterious Songs On The Internet”, where he uploads the most popular tracks by unknown authors, and only later he begins to upload videos himself.

Tracks That Became Popular on the Channel

  • Keep Distance – Не Уходи (Trance Remix) Initially wanted as “Day turns into night” and turned out to be the work of a Russian-German group of the early 2000s.
  • Maryproject – Подруга A small fragment of a video by the Ukrainian singer Mary, broadcast on the OGRTK TV channel. She was identified on TV for 2 months, but the clip remained lost.
  • Islanders – Rumperlstiltzchen Video clip from the St. Petersburg band by Bob Jack. Broadcast in the 90s on regional television channels in St. Petersburg, including Nevsky Channel (36) and NBN. In addition to Rumperlstiltzchen, the group also had three more videos: “Libertine”, “Fantasy” and one more that no one remembers. All clips are in search.
  • Take Me Far Away – An unidentified song in English, heard on Odessa radio in the late 90s. In total, a fragment of 2 minutes and 10 seconds remained intact. It was originally posted on the Russian website klem.ru by the user Nata-od. Is Anon's most wanted song.
  • Udo Kier - Mr. Klein – For a long time, the song was in search besides “Take Me Far Away From Far Winds”, also recorded on Odessa radio, somewhere in the 80s. Later we found out that the performer was the German actor and singer UDO KIER, and the song itself, or rather a small fragment of it, was performed in the film “My Own Private Idaho,” where Udo Kier was filmed.
  • Алена Стрельцова – Где-то, где-то – Formerly known as “On the Edge of the Planet”. For a long time it was only known that a video was also shot for the song, which was broadcast in 1999 on the MuzTV channel in the program “MuzTV Kitchen” Issue 1
  • Мой Блуждающий Огонь - A song by a Russian singer Nataliya Verich recorded on September 1995. It remained lost for 25 years, until it was identified by his telegram group chat.
  • Телефон - unknown 90s techno song found in a compilation album.
  • Барабанный бой - unknown 2000s/2010s anti-war song.
