Amalaponi (formerly known as Mozambique Dance) is a formerly unidentified afrofunk song by Murrara Jazz.

On June 21st, 2023, a YouTube user named "mckiddie" would upload the song onto the website. They would state that they recorded the song off of either "Radio Zumbo FM 89.6" or "Radio Sem Fronteiras FM 102.1" at an unknown date. Both the radio stations originate from Pemba, Mozambique.
On March 13th, 2025, popular lostwave uploader, "Ziro" would upload the song onto their YouTube channel, giving the song more attention and hopefully getting it solved more sooner.
On April 7th, 2025, user seraphinelostwave identified the song as Amalaponi by Murrara Jazz, saying in the reply to their comment:
- “In April 4 i message the Radio Sem Fronteiras FM 102.1 in WhatsApp and waited for days and today April 7 in 5:01pm they responded to me and says that the singer is Murrara Jazz i ask it whats the song but they didn't response because they are busy so i decided to search Murrara Jazz on YouTube and played 3 song of him when i saw Amalaponi and listen to it this is the song and that's how i solved and again super thanks to Radio Sem Fronteiras FM 102.”
