Air (formerly known as Air Miku) is a Japanese song made with the VOCALOID software's Hatsune Miku voicebank by Nicovideo user Nagisa.f. It was uploaded to YouTube by user CarlosAssaf on June 13th 2015.
The only information OP stated was that he found the song in his files under the name of "Air Miku".[1]

On June 13th 2015, user CarlosAssaf uploaded the song for the first time under the name of "Air Miku" onto YouTube.
Ruby Choco Cookie's ex-friend, Miki K., introduced her to the song, leading her to reuploading the snippet. The main search hubs for the song were YouTube and WatZatSong.[2]
On November 26th 2024, a WatZatSong user named Sumiyoshi finally identified the song, confirming that the producer behind it is Nagisa.f. It was found on two websites: Niconico and Jamendo.[3][4] On the two mentioned websites, Air was always uploaded and entirely avaliable (and its producer known) meaning this song was never lost in the first place.

nagisa.f[]
nagisa.f[5] is a Japanese creator active online since 2008. One of their notable works is "If There's No God" ("神様がいないなら") in 2014[6], collaborated with やみん and song composed by chiaki. They are also known for creating a ending theme for the last episode of the doujin game "Shigatsu No Hotaru" ("四月の蛍") [7] by NOeSIS Podcast.
Their first discography on Nicovideo appears to be the song "ONE, WAY" ("ミチ、ヒトツ"), posted on Nicovideo on August 25th 2008. Later on October 5th, the second song "One Face, onE facE" was posted.
On January 4th 2009, they posted this song, "Air", on Nicovideo and stated that they were recruiting someone to play Hatsune Miku. However, it is mentioned as a remake of a "old work" and is also described on the description of "One Face, onE facE".[8] They also produced other 7 songs in 2009:
Around September of 2010, they produced 2 songs and provided both as the instrumentals of rap songs. One month later on November 27th, they posted another one.
nagisa.f is still active online nowadays, but have been inactive on Nicovideo since 2014.
