Lyrics[]

We've reached the sticky end
Of a never lasting strip
There's no need to apologize
When nothing has been broken yet

In fact, we've built a wall
Can you get over this?
Too long to walk around
Too thick, too tough to break

And our love has spent a long day dying
Our love has spent a long day dying
Words were waisted lying
Love has spent a long day dying

Bring me my bow of gold
And my arrows of desire
God's Cupid never knows
How to make things easier

In fact, we'd have our way
I'd take all you had to give
Another cliché bites the dust
I said without you, I can not live

And our love has spent a long day dying
Our love has spent a long day dying
Words were waisted lying
Love has spent a long day dying

Our love has spent a long day dying
Love has spent a long day dying
Words were waisted lying
Love has spent a long day dying

Our love has spent a long day dying
Our love has spent a long day dying
