A Little Ship Was On The Sea is an unidentified song from the 1890's, possibly being one of the oldest lostwave tracks. It comes from the same recording as Post and Old King Cole.

The song was originally uploaded to archeophone.org by an unknown user.

Nikozo uploaded the song to YouTube on April 7th, 2023, saying it was from 1889 with a fragment. SpikeytheCactus uploaded the song to YouTube on July 30, 2024, saying it was possibly from 1890.

Leads[]

On October 2nd, 2025, user JV-Collects mentioned the recording could possibly be by the singer "Lil Hawthorne", who has a very similar voice and timeline to this recording.
