"3m1" (also known as "3w0e9wm_mxMDZ01m904_121nmsam0.mp3" or "Backrooms Instrumental") is a hoax lostwave possibly generated by Melobytes AI. The user Apenas 3D claimed they found it on their computer on December 19th, 2021. The song was likely generated and forgotten about, or generated and then used maliciously to garner attention.

On December 26th, 2022, YouTube user Apenas 3D posted a video on his channel with a song saying that he found the song on his computer and was dated December 19th, 2021. According to the user, the music file was named 3w0e9wm_mxMDZ01m904_121nmsam0.mp3 and he didn't remember downloading the song.
Around February 20th, 2023, the OP would private the video for unknown reasons.
On February 16th, 2024, the possibility of the song being AI generated was heavily considered. It was dismissed at first due to the song’s constant BPM, but a similar sounding AI generated song from 2000 was discovered.
On March 3rd, 2024, a user by the name of Cole Zophar claimed the song was by them, uploading it to Bandcamp under the title “I’m A Demo”. But due to:
- Them having no mentions online other than their Bandcamp,
- There being no evidence the song was created by them or called “I'm A Demo” besides their own claim,
- Them not uploading the song to Bandcamp until 2024,
- Other suspicious activity on their Bandcamp account (such as uploading an AI-generated Drake song)
It is highly unlikely that this person created the song, and they are likely a troll.
