"This song was on a cassette tape recording of a radio station I found dated from October 1990. A real stumper for me. I have the entire track, but have not been able to identify the artist, or the official track name. I think it may be titled "I'm In "

Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
Sitting on the roof in the afternoon
Denny and Scott will be home soon
The sun in the sky and the baby is crying
The lady next door, she waves bye-bye
[Chorus]
Anything’s possible, don't you know?
I’m in love with rock and roll
[Verse 2]
Staring at my beer in a backroom bar
Thinking our music will get us far
Talking with Grant about the Dü
Maybe that's why I wrote a song for you
[Chorus]
Anything's possible, don't you know?
I’m in love with rock and roll
[Guitar solo]
[Verse 3]
Camper Van B and the [strugglin' bands?]
Young Fresh Fellows and a guy named Tad
They're all dudes, but so are we
Come on man, take a look and see that
[Chorus]
Anything's possible, don't you know?
I’m in love with rock and roll
[Instrumental outro]
The Eclectics[]
The Eclectics was a short-lived alternative rock band from Saint Paul, Minnesota (USA). They have only one album to their name.
The band consisted of: Marky Den Hartog (guitar, lead vocals), Scott Hanna (bass, backup vocals), Gary Heady (drums) and Dennis Volkert (guitar).
The band released their first single in 1987 with two songs:
- I Love Fall
- Big Tough Dreams
Then still in 1987, their song When I Was Young was featured in a compilation album named: The Iowa Compilation. Produced and released by South East Records (their record label).
In 1988, their song Big Tough Dreams was featured in a continuation of the previous The Iowa Compilation titled: It's Another Iowa Compilation. Produced and released by the same record label.
Then in 1991, the band put out their only album Watershed. While replying to a YouTube comment asking about the album, guitarist Dennis Volkert said:
- I don't have an exact count on that ... I might have to check w/ a bandmate. We didn't sell a ton (still some available).
Still in 1991, their song Queen Of The Shrine was featured in another, and last, compilation album named: Demonstration Spring 1991. Produced and released by Demonstration Records.
