Ψαράδες (English: Fishermen) is an unidentified Greece choir recording uploaded to YouTube by user thesemenincident on 21th March, 2012.

According to YouTube Greece user ΜΟΥΣΙΚΑ ΕΝΘΥΜΙΑ (MUSICAL EMOTION), the song on the recording is probably a cover of Barcarolle from the comedy «Η ΤΡΑΤΑ» (English: "THE TRAW") in 1894, created by Loudovikos Spinellis, and the lyrics composed by Ioannis Laios (John Laios).

History[]

It was found on an acetate disc simply labeled the name of the song, with translated to English title. The OP is not sure about the date of the recording, but it was likely made before 1970. The disc in which recorded the song was one of the series of Audiodisc Recording Blank.

Presumed Lyrics[]

Λα λα λα λα λα λα

La la la la la la

What a night with a moon, illuminating the fishermen down there from above, boasting and laughing. Now, like little brothers, let's lie down together, that's how everyone should work to live. And when the old man comes out and tells us: Come on, children.
Jump up, everyone, let's get to work!

What a night, a night with a moon, illuminating from above.
